CBN To introduce N5000 note, the faces of 3 historical women leaders will be used ;Margaret Ekpo: late politician and social mobilizer (1914 - 2006), Hajia Gambo Sawaba: late politician and activist (1933 - 2001) & Funmilayo Kuti: late politician and women's right activist (1900 -1978)...
They also plan to convert the N5, N10 and N20 notes to coins next year!..so time to say bye bye to this currency notes, remember coins cannot buy anything in naija, if you're doubting tell me when was the last time you bought something with a coin?
