Chelsea emulates Arsenal's come back United n Liverpool dumped out

Ramires

Walcott
It was a 12 goal thriller yesterday when Arsenal came back from 4-0 down to defeat Reading  7-5 in the Capital one cup, and another goal feast today as Chelsea took a revenge against Manchester United with a 9 goal thriller wining the game 5-4 in extra time, error prone Chelsea came back three times in the game to equalize against a much changed United team, but when Ramires scored Chelsea's 4th United could not come back.
Another giant Liverpool the holders is out of the cup putting Brendan Rogers under pressure as Swansea proved to be a hard nut to crack defeating Liverpool 3-1 at Anfield!
AVB's Tottenham  lost 2-1 to Norwich tonight leaving Arsenal and Chelsea as favourites to win the cup.

Chelsea's pound of flesh on ManU fav Ref....

It has gone viral that the last match between Chelsea and Manchester United was marred by referee Clattenburg's bizarre decisions in a match a Chelsea player was denied a stone cold penalty and hence red carded besides an offside goal was allowed to win it for United..it has been made more complicated by the claims by Chelsea's Mikel and Mata alleging racial slur directed towards them in the ill fated match by the same referee...it has been reported that the ref called Mata Spanish t**t and Mikel M****y.mmmh! now it is not between players but officials against players of colour!. Mark Clattenburg has been suspended for this weekend's matches and could be banned for life if found guilty of the reported charges...missed the match story? read it here http://www.ladkings.blogspot.fr/2012/10/chelsea-robbed-by-red-clattenburg.html

Chelsea robbed by Red Clattenburg!...

The game ended Chelsea 2 Manchester United 3
match loser

but the headlines from different sports sites said it all......

''Manchester United moved back into the title hunt with a 3-2 Premier League win at Chelsea that was marred by two poor officiating decisions. It was a shame that a great advertisement for the Premier League should be spoiled by poor decisions''-http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com

''A thrilling Premier League encounter between Chelsea and Manchester United should have been remembered for a footballing feast rather than controversial refereeing''
"Cheat, cheat, cheat," filled the chilly Stamford Bridge air after Mark Clattenburg blew his whistle to end a tempestuous encounter and signal the start of an inquest that will focus on the frailties of officialdom rather than the calibre of the football.- http://www.goal.com

Drogba from blue to Red!.....

sorry blue-guys If I go u know, is for d cash men....lol
The Chinese league will end next week and Liverpool's manager Brendan Rogers has been linked to a move to bring Didier Drogba on loan to Liverpool to ease off the striking burden on Suarez.
The moves seems likely considering the financial woes on Drogba's Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua; besides his family lives in surrey England will be another boost to aid Liverpool landing the former Chelsea strike force....Chelsea will host Liverpool on 11th of November are we going to see DD return to the bridge so soon in Red ?

Super Sunday ..Chelsea vs ManU clash...

With Manchester City overtaking Manchester united in the premiership log after surviving a scare against Swansea on Saturday with a 1-0 narrow win, tomorrow's Super Sunday clash will present Manchester United the opportunity to match Mancity's position and edge closer to Chelsea who are strongly topping the log with 2 point and reasonable goal difference. Chelsea will need a better reaction coming from a defeat inflicted by Sharkter Donesk in a champions league match..can chelsea consolidate their leadership or will ManUnited give them a real fight for the tittle? ...hoping that the referee will not be the center of attraction....
Chelsea at the bridge tomorrow will face Manchester United twice in 4 days...in the League and capital one cup....who will be the conqueror?

How are the mighty fallen….in champions league

The Champions Chelsea , Ac Milan and Manchester city who were among the favourites to clinch the title are struggling in their respective champions league groups ,they all lost their last Champions league matches... Chelsea and AC  Milan sit on second position with only 4 points out of 3 matches played while Manchester City is as good as out with one point at the bottom of group D wishing to perform a miracle against the likes of Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. who among the three can survive?

Can Efe and teammates stop Messi?

Ambrose
Can the Scottish champions take advantage of the injury woes in Barcelona to grab a point or three against the high flying Spanish side? with the likes of Gerard Pique ,Daniel Alves, Carles Puyol and Eric Abidal injured Celtic surely should capitalize on the make shift defensive duo of Song and Mascherano
Both teams scored five goals in the weekend but despite Messi's hat trick Barcelona conceded four goals against Deportivo while Celtic maintained a clean sheet against St Mirren with Nigerian Efe Ambrose on target.

 Here are juicy features tomorrow;

Barcelona wins a 9 goal thriller....as Ref showed no favouritism

Messi and his Girl
Everything in football happened in this game as Barcelona laboured to beat relegation threatened Deportivo 5-4 in a 9 goal thriller..Barcelona fans will not believe how their team gave up a 3-0 lead in the first half  all scored just before the 20th minute of the game and later found themselves struggling against a battling Depo.
Messi who's expecting a baby soonest had a hat trick in the Match (a good baby present!) but Barcelona will begin to imagine how misfortune almost denied them 3 points... a dubious penalty was awarded against them, Valdes had another 'sleeping moment' as he bundled the ball inside his own net (again!)  to hand the host another goal, while Mascherano saw red after a second bookable offence ..the big question: is the era of favouring Barcelona over after a Referee was punished recently?....time will tell!

Dzeko, Rooney and Mata shine..Abysmal Arsenal shocked by Norwich

Mata
It was a fantastic Saturday for the likes of Mata, Rooney and Dzeko who all had a brace to lift their teams..for Chelsea Mata equalized when AVB's Tottenham thought they have revenged and he also scored Chelsea's third to give the visitors the lead in the second half the game ended 2-4 in favour of Chelsea....
Rooney
It was a bit mixed feeling for Rooney celebrating his 10 years of Premiership games when he nodded his first goal of the match in the wrong net ...lol to give Stoke an own goal lead; but later in the game he redeemed himself by scoring the equalizer, this time in the opposition's net, he also scored ManUnited's 4th goal...can we say that he had a hat trick?...lol United won the game  4-2.

Revenge time for AVB?..don't miss it! Spurs vs chelsea

It will be a mid day cracker tomorrow! between Tottenham and Chelsea as AVB prepares to meet his former assistant RDM, mmh! it was rumoured that he betrayed  to over throw AVB  from the Chelsea HOT seat, but he denied it. Will it be a sweet revenge for AVB @ white hart lane starting 12h45?
What an opportunity to show his former employers that he's better than his former assistant...but a lot of good things have happened to Chelsea and RDM since the sensational sacking of AVB..Chelsea claimed the double last season and now play more fascinating football while occupying top of the table...a time to prove that RDM is the right man for the job;although this match will be decided mainly by players from both teams but the coaches have no lost love...exciting!

Trouble makers?..no ways! they spice up Football on and off the field!

Pepe
Rooney
Suarez
Adebayo
Diouf

Balotteli

Barton

Tevez
Terry?
who's you favourite player among these guys that keep the news updated on and off the field....and who's missing?

no Terry for Chelsea vs Spurs,Man United....will they miss him?

JT has decided not to appeal the FA decision and therefore will miss 4 matches in a row , will Chelsea miss his services?...I think so!

John Terry's statement, released today, reads:
'After careful consideration, I have decided not to appeal against the FA judgment.
'I want to take this opportunity to apologise to everyone for the language I used in the game against Queens Park Rangers last October.
'Although I'm disappointed with the FA judgement, I accept that the language I used, regardless of the context, is not acceptable on the football field or indeed in any walk of life.

pray for Rufai...

The most popular Nigerian ex-goal keeper has been hospitalized after collapsing in his office earlier today; Peter Rufai who is aged 49 was rushed to hospital in a critical condition...Peter had 65 caps for the Super Eagles and scored a goal (r u surprised?)...our prayer goes on for his speedy recovery.

No more misses for Arsenal's Giroud...

Giroud
Benzema's injury forced the French coach Deschamp to bring on Arsenal's Giroud with only three minutes left in the normal regulation time -Giroud redirected a pass with a header to beat Casillas; having scored his first for the Gunners it seems he has found his goal scoring rhythm again!
It was a sweet sensation for the French supporters as their first equalizer was wrongly ruled as offside...Ramos scored 25th minutes earlier to put the host ahead while Loris saved Fabregas' penalty ...game ended 1-1 with both teams on 7 points in their world cup qualifying group.

Drogba and others attacked...

Drogba with human Shield

Senseless crowd

It was an ugly scene for African football as the likes of Didier Drogba, Yaya & Gervinho were attacked in an AFCON qualifier between Senegal and Ivory Coast, the incident started shortly after Drogba converted a penalty the second goal for the Ivory coast and that incensed the Senegalese fans who started making smokes, fire and threw stones and weapons on ivory coast players...it was at the 69th minute of the game with 6-2 aggregate in favour of Ivory Coast when the match was abandoned and security personnel ensured that the players were shielded and guided back into the dressing rooms.

Ghanaian 10-women beat Germany and France crowned champions

Azerbaijan 2012 under 17 women's world cup ended with the French becoming victorious over Korea DPR via a marathon of penalties in the final, they won 7-6 after a 1-1 stalemate...the french women have mixed skills and talent unarguably and a bit of luck as their quarter finals opponents Nigeria and semi finals opponents Ghana were all reduced to 10 in the course of the games..
The Ghana maidens also did the continent proud by beating Germany 1-0 in the third place play off with 10 women again ! getting  the bronze, Bravo jare !

France the champions
Nigerian duo Chinwendu IHEZUO and Halimatu AYINDE shared the golden boot award with Korean's  RI Un Sim (PRK)

Chelsea duo on target as Nigeria qualifies...

Chelsea duo Mikel and Moses were on target as Nigeria white washed Liberia with a 6-1 rout to qualify for the AFCON 2013 in South Africa, the match was played in a rain soaked Calabar stadium where the star studded Super Eagles showed some class in most part of the game . Celtic based Efe opened the scoring in the first minute of the game with a header, also on the scorers sheet are Ike Uche and Ahmed Musa.

AFCON 2013 desperate moves...

it's a make or mar features today and tomorrow Sunday as African teams battle for the remaining slot to South Africa 2013...former African heavy weights who missed out last year are desperate to qualify this time around, the Cameroonian presido has intervened by calling Samuel Eto out of retirement to ensure that Cameroon qualifies mmmh! Eto and his folks need to score 3 goals against Cape Verde in Yaounde to fulfill this dream. Back in Nigeria, Keshi has jettisoned his anger to invite Mikel to marshal the Super eagles' midfield where games are lost and won..Nigeria need to beat Liberia by any margin or  get a lower score draw to better the 2-2 away result, can the big boss save his around 5m naira job!

Barca Ref banned...

Is this a belated Justice? as Spanish Football Association suspends Referee Mateu Lahoz for a round of La Liga game, he refereed the match between Sevilla and Barcelona missed it? read more about it where he gifted Barcelona a win by committing what they called ''a technical error''..mmmh! well he gifted Barcelona a win by reducing Sevilla to ten men and ignoring an obvious hand ball incident by a Barca player leading to a goal in a match Sevilla were cruising with a 2-1 lead before Lahoz did his abracadabra and Barca came back from the 89th minute to win  3-2.....

Eagles can roast Liberia in Calabar if....

With the caliber of  players added by Stephen Keshi in the provisional squad to tackle the Liberians for  a place in next year's AFCON hopes are high enough considering the exploits of some of the invited professionals in their respective clubs, the likes of Emenike, Moses, Brown Ideye, Mikel...have all impressed in the previous weekend but the Eagles will be poised to roast the Liberians on Saturday if the tactics and match plans are well tailored ....and maybe in addition Obafemi Martins should be a late inclusion...he's on fire!lately with Levante, he has scored two goals in two matches that won the games for his new club in Spain.

Cole and Terry are they distracting Chelsea?....

partners
Two senior players of Chelsea FC have been in the news often for the wrong reasons recently...with Chelsea on top of the log with a 4 points cushion it is imperative that two of their most senior players lead by examples for the club to continue to lead the log...

Ashley Cole has apologized for his outburst about the FA which is encouraging and Terry might not appeal his 4 match ban to let the sleeping dog lie..focus for Chelsea players should be on the league matches!

Mikel the musician...

What do you think of the idea, Mikel Obi of Chelsea FC has ventured into the Nigeria music industry..obviously he is not the first football star to do so as we have seen Drogba, Cisse and whole lot having some kind of stints with musicians or musical group. It does not seem like he's gonna sing something according to the report he's the sponsor while his brother Patrick Obi will manage the record label called Matured Money Minds...mmh! sounds like a 'gangsta' hip hop stuff, well already three artiste Charass, Kido, Edgar and Splash are reported to be on the label....

Nigerian Football on the low....Haiti, Cape verde,Libya better

one wonders how the dwindling fortunes of Nigeria football continues, countries who have never been to the world cup before have all climbed above Nigeria in the FIFA Ranking just released, it means the likes of Haiti, Libya, Cape verde do play good and better football than Nigeria...are they still called 'Super'...what are the likes of Keshi doing in effect?....

Nigeria out again....

Dedevbo... preferred defenders for penalties!
The Flamingoes bow out of the tournament after fighting hard with 10 'wo'men to a 0-0 draw in the regulation time with France but their coach Dedevbo handed over the penalty shoot out to Defenders while his attackers sat and watched on, one of the defenders Nnodim Sarah, scuffed the ball completely meters away from the post....probably he believed defenders don't miss penalties ...try again sir!...France won 5-3 on penalties ...take nothing away from the Nigerian girls, who were gallant all through the competition. poor coaching tactics remains the bane of women's football in Nigeria.

Ballack retires from Football after 17yrs

Micheal Ballack announced his retirement from football after a successful 17 yrs footballing career ..he is aged 36.
The former German captain with 98 caps played for Kaiserslautern, Bayern Leverkusen, Munich, and Chelsea, he played  as a midfielder but scored his highest number of goals with Bayern Munich (44 goals in 4 yrs)...wonders why he didn't accept offers from US or even China...

It was a night of braces for the likes of Nigerian Emmanuel Emenike , RVP, Jonas and Mata but Emenike's brace was not enough to lift his team Spartak Moscow as Samaras scored late to give Celtic their third goal for the maximum 3 points..the most shocking news will be Beyern's  loss to BATE 3-1...
